16 agosto 1977, Elvis Aaron Presley (”The King of Rock’n'Roll”, come venne soprannominato negli anni ‘50) scompare, all’eta’ di 42 anni. Oggi, 16 agosto 2007, migliaia di fan si sono dati appuntamento di fronte alla casa di Elvis, la celeberrima Graceland, a Memphis (Tennessee), per confermare, a trent’anni di distanza, che il Re è sempre sul trono. Sotto potete ascoltare la stupenda versione originale di quella che in italiano divenne Io che non vivo più di un’ora senza te:
